Tell us a little about yourself.

My wife and I are from Texas and live in Austin with our two kids. I work in marketing and currently lead the Product Marketing org for Dialpad, a cloud communications company based in San Francisco with offices here in Austin.

What problem(s) did you face before using our product?

Once we started working from home, my office floated around the house a bit. First in my bedroom and then into my daughter's room - not a great solution for either of us. We talked about multiple options, including moving to a larger house so I could have my own home office.

Why did you choose our product/company?

Being able to pay one price for everything, not think about the multiple contractors or permits made things really easy. The timeline to get started/ have a finished building was a lot quicker than some of the other companies I looked at, including pre-fab units. There was one day where I decided my home office wasn't working. I called that morning and had an appointment for a site visit that afternoon. I signed the contract that weekend and one week later the foundation was going in.

What feedback can you share about our product, both good and bad?

Everything about the process was easy and the quality of work really shows. Brian, our project manager, was really attentive to every detail and would even make adjustments without me saying anything. I gave the wrong paint color name to the crew by accident, but Brian knew we wanted it to match our house color. He noticed after the first coat when on and was already starting to re-match the color and get it re-done before I had a chance to notice.

Anything else you’d like to share?

Thanks so much - it has really been a life changer having my own space to work. We've added value to our home and also extended the time we can stay here since we have more space. If I had known it would have been this easy and the end result this nice, I would have done it a lot sooner.
